Missions

The Source: It is Christ’s commission to the Church.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” -Mark 16:15 

The Scope: It is a world wide responsibility.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” -Matthew 28:19-20 

The Strength: It is God the Holy Spirit the enpowers His people.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” -Acts 1:8 

The Servants: It is the Local Churches responsibility to reach its  area with the Gospel of Christ. It is through the modern day missionary, that we as a Local Church can have our part in branching out and reaching the world with the gospel of Christ. It is our responsibility to send missionaries as well as support missionaries sent out of other Local Churches of like precious faith.
